Kelly has a varied background as a business owner, with over a decade of experience in the highly regulated childcare sector.
Kelly began as a Nursery Nurse and Room Supervisor before venturing into self-employment as an Ofsted Registered Childminder. Notably, in 2018, Kelly achieved the highest grade of care, earning an "Outstanding" rating. She shared her industry expertise by providing support to fellow childminders and contributing insightful blogs for PACEY, a leading childcare insurance company.
While continuing her journey in childcare, Kelly also harnessed technical skills as a part-time software tester at Baby's Days, a childcare software company. This role involved testing the latest app and web platform features and providing technical assistance to customers. Kelly later made use of her impressive industry knowledge to create an online consultancy business, offering one-to-one, small group, and nursery-wide training sessions.
Kelly's articles allow her to share her expertise as a business owner, and an expert in the childcare sector. In her leisure time Kelly is passionate about garden wildlife and photography, and has an ambition to write children's books.
