It may be possible, for instance, to set up an office that uses partitions that extend from the ceiling to the floor. These can then have doors.

The theory is that people prefer to have their own territory in which they can work. Such an approach helps them focus on the jobs they have to do. This in turn leads to greater employee effectiveness.
